To re-certify you must acquire 6 CEUs.
Generally, one hour of technical contact time counts for one CEU.
 

Observing a CPS Certification Class or taking an Update Course

You can receive a maximum of 3 CEUs for observing a 32 hour course. Every two hours of observation counts for 1 CEU.

Teleconferences
You can receive a maximum of 5 CEUs
